Who we are !


RICA plays a leading role within the Raymond Island community


*   Obtaining funding for relevant projects as suggested by residents

*   Co-ordinating volunteers for the community bus during ferry outages


*    Managing the community hall on behalf of the Shire of East Gippsland


*    Communicating with the Shire on matters that concern Islanders


*    Arranging public meetings and functions where we can meet socially



                                                                 
RICA was formed in 2003 as an amalgamation of 

RIAL( Raymond Island Advancement League ) and R I P ( R. I. Protection )
RIAL existed from 1949 - 2003
RIP from 1988 - 2003
