Noel and Mary Templeton
The Templetons have a holiday house in Third and spend their time between Sale and our Island
As Mary says: “ We have been spending more time here then in Sale lately. “
Over the years Noel and Mary have taken many photos of local wildlife.
Enjoy a selection of them as much as they have enjoyed photographing them. June 2008
For the last four years they have had a family of possums in their “ out room “ as Noel and Mary call it ( see below )
Notice the green sail bag ? That’s where the possums live
Some years before that a mother with triplets appeared in their back yard
Also a very thirsty koala
For two years Noel and Mary were hosts to a Tawny Frogmouth who made the “out room “ its permanent base.
One day the bird brought a partner, they came twice, left and the Templetons
have never seen the birds again.
