Rob and his faithful friend

                                   a feel good story



There is a story about this egret. Rob Morecroft who is a professional fisherman  has known this bird for years. Every time Rob goes out on the Lakes to ply his trade the egret follows him knowing that it will get a meal.

One day Rob’s friend did not turn up, nor the next day. After a while Rob accepted that he had lost his loyal companion. This was the second time it happened, once before the bird was gone for six months .This time it was NINE MONTHS before the egret came back.

What could have happened for the bird to leave and then return?   Where would it have been ?
