Believe it or not : “ IT DID NOT RAIN !!“
WHY NOT ?            WHY NOT ?             WHY NOT ?             WHY NOT ?                 WHY NOT ?              WHY NOT ?
----- easy, Les and Marg BRADD arranged for the
vintage cars to come to HAPPY HOUR-----

Once the word got out that the sun
would shine, cars, motor bikes,
musicians, guests and islanders turned
up to enjoy a sunny  afternoon.

Les and Marg ( as usual ) had organised
the get-together to perfection. 

In the end over 120 fans turned up to
admire the many cars and bikes on
display,enjoy the company of friends
and listen to the live music by Jeff
Parkes and Iris Langley .

A big thanks must go to the many
people who brought their cars to the
community hall grounds making it a
memorable display, but most of our
thanks go to Les and Marg.
We have it on authority that the two got in touch with the  GODS of WET and pleaded with them on behalf of all vintage cars in the district not to spoil their duco with water.
