Long-tailed Pea-blue butterfly
Hi all, I have attached some images of a little butterfly I found in the back yard recently. It is called the Long-tailed Pea-blue butterfly and is common over Australia. Never seen it before on the Island. We have a small butterfly of similar appearance called the Pea-blue butterfly which is very common and the larva feed and pupate on clover. The butterfly I found had a small but distinct tail on the hind wing and was a beautiful blue on the upperwing. Regards Andrew
