Give a lasting legacy
In 1932 Beatrice A達eckett made a will in which she left the land on Raymond Island known as A達eckett Park to her husband Arthur for life, and then to the Anglican Diocese of Gippsland. Beatrice died in December 1938 and her husband a few months later.
A達eckett Park has grown to have a special place in the heart and lives of people in the Diocese of Gippsland and beyond.
Others have followed the tradition established by Beatrice A達eckett. A bequest from the Pratt Family enabled the A Frame to be built. A bequest from the West family gave West Cottage.
You are invited to take your place with Beatrice A達eckett, the Pratt and the West families whose vision and generosity gave birth to A達eckett Park and enabled its growth along the way.
Your bequest or donation will enable the future of The Abbey of St Barnabas at A達eckett Park as a sacred place, a place that holds before us the dream for the restoration of the deep balance of all creation, a place of welcome and hospitality and pilgrimage.
